Two-tone cabinetry, a waterfall quartz island and full-height herringbone tile, rebuilt from the ground up for the way this family cooks.
A dated, closed-in kitchen in Cypress, Texas rebuilt as the center of the house. Artosa IDC replaced the cabinetry, counters, backsplash, lighting and flooring, and reorganized the room around how this family actually cooks.
The brief was straightforward and the execution was not: open the room up, add real storage, and land on a palette that would still look right in ten years. We rebuilt the cabinetry from the ground up in two tones, replaced the counters in quartz, ran herringbone tile full height, and rewired the lighting so every work surface is properly lit.
The result is a kitchen that handles a weeknight dinner and a full house of guests equally well, with a dedicated beverage bar keeping coffee and drink traffic clear of the cooking zone.
